Day 45: Edge by Edge, by Hand

Overcasting Lining Edges

After the silk is stitched, the raw edges are overcasted—by hand. A rhythm we’ve seen before, but now in a new key.

Wool, silk, cotton—each demands its own pressure, pace, patience. The technique is the same. But the judgment is earned.

Tailoring is problem-solving in slow motion. One edge at a time, stitched back into place.
