Day 44: A Line Through Silk

Making Blazer Lining

The lining pieces are cut. Now they’re joined—stitched together by machine, forming the light internal structure of the coat.

It’s the same machine used for wool. But not quite the same stitch. Not quite the same touch. Lighter fabric. Finer adjustments. Experience in small shifts.

In tailoring, the technique may repeat—but the feeling never does.
