I would like to add a bit of drama to the wrap-top. To counterbalance the otherwise rather minimalistic style just a bit. So I found these two suit-fabric swatches, and am now thinking of making a kind of draped puff-sleeve. Wouldn’t that be cool…?

Trying out an added draped collar to the top’s neckline. It’s a vertically striped soft silk fabric, cut on the bias and then mounted on top of a somewhat stiffer silk organza. I folded it once without pressing, to get a really soft and rounded look.

Draping in the actual fabric this time. I had a left-over piece of a high-quality men’s suit wool fabric, so I really need to know I won’t exceed the amount I actually have. And I most certainly need to use every square-inch of it!
